\ndiscovered in a remote location of Costa Rica?s Monteverde Cloud Forest
\nReserve. Unfortunately, the last sighting of this toad was in 1989. Later
\nthey were declared extinct due to not being seen again. I wanted to convey
\na sense of longing and fading in this painting, as if you are seeing this
\ntoad for the last time and by morning they will be gone forever. This piece
