It is a difficult aspect to explain but drawing is more then just the drawing action. You have to learn how to see differently. There is an amazing book that describes this. It is called “Drawing with your Artist’s Brain” by Carl Purcell. As he says, “Learn to draw what you see- not what you think you see.”

In other news, the sea mammal painting is complete. I ended up doing two of them. Haha, now you know why there was more of a delay. However, I’ll be posting at least one of them next week. So something to look forward to everyone!
