Rare Escape
This pastel piece features the Black Footed wild cat who is the smallest type of cat in Africa. They have been called the deadliest cat on the planet with their amazing hunting skills. This captures the rare moment when a Black Footed cat misses and watches its prey fly away. The intricate details of the cat's fur and the subtle play of light create a sense of depth, drawing the viewer into this magical scene. The warm tones of the grass contrast beautifully with the delicate feather, evoking a sense of wonder and exploration. It measures approximately 11”x 14”. The original is available for $500 unframed. Prints are available in a variety of sizes in the shop.

Wishing Bengal
This pastel is of a silver bengal cat. I tried to capture the
life and beauty of this exotic cat. My goal was to capture the movement of the
cat approaching the dandelion wish puff. Perhaps even cats can make
wishes. This piece measures “16 x 20”. Prints are available for this pastel
piece.

Little-Brown-Bat
Bats are adorable amazing creatures. I tried to do a
fine art piece through a digital medium to capture a little
brown bat swooping after a moth. The little brown bat had
a huge population but in recent years have suffered greatly
because of the fungal disease called white-nose syndrome.
Today, organizations are trying to work to protect and
conserve this species

The Approach
The Jaguar is the king of the jungle in South America. Here in
the Pantanal region the jaguar approaches a caiman who is below the riverbank.
Readying himself to pounce and get some caiman meat this pastel piece precedes my
ink painting “The Clash”. I wanted to capture the suspense of this muscular cat
before the fight between the mighty caiman and jaguar predators occur. This piece
measures about 14”x20”. The original is available for sale for $1000 unframed.
