So today I’m covering my painting I’ve been using as my profile picture for many of my social media platforms. This painting is of a Yellow fronted orange finch. It is one out of a set of 3 I did of this particular kind of bird. This set of paintings are very small in size at 4 x 4 inches. You can view the other two paintings on my portfolio page.

I first saw these adorable little birds at the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City, Utah. I thought they were colored so vibrantly that I couldn’t help but take reference photos of them. Those photos were used and helped in the process of my yellow finch set.
