This ink painting is of my Arabian horse Streak. He has now reached the ripe old age of 25 and is still going strong. I’ve had him for a very long time so it was natural for me to do a painting of him. What kind of animals have you had for a long time?

This painting is coming a long. To bad I can’t seem to get a photo that does it justice. Still this is what you get. Just a little more and this piece will be complete. Look forward to seeing it when it is done.

The center painting for my triptych collaboration with Julia. This is the middle stage/teenage part. It is very interesting to see the differences from kitten hood to adulthood. It is amazing to see how long of hair he grows as he gets older. Have you helped any feral cats? Many people aren’t always aware of them but there are many programs to help the issue. We rescued the mother of this kitten and helped find her the other kittens new homes when they were born. This triptych should turn out very cool by the end of it. 🙂

This is a close up on my ink painting, “Hidden Life”. It was one of my earliest full ink painting. Back in 2010 it won 2nd place in the Annual Art Competition for Art Instruction school and was published in the illustrator magazine.

I love this piece because it help me go into ink being one of my primary mediums. I absolutely love it! Do you like ink?

A zoom in on my pastel piece, “Show me How Mama”. This was the first pastel I did so much snow in. It was tricky and afterwards I learned a lot of how to do snow. I still like this piece because of the wonderful snow leopards!

Carrot is a feral cat we helped out so she because our barnyard cat. Here she is with our mini horse Paintbrush. She decided she needed to help with brushing her. 🙂
