For this month i’m posting the pony Arc Angel. I redid this drawing to fix some aspects from the original. I love the wings and look of him.

It is winter here and we finally got a whole pile of snow. This season if perfect for this little enfield so I encourage you guys to check him out for the holidays.

Unfortunately I wasn’t up to doing a post last week due to having surgery. I’m hoping that after I heal up some more i’ll be up to getting more artwork finished. Here is an update on my tiger piece. It is so close to completion with just the rock in front and touch ups left. Can’t wait to finish it!

This pastel piece depicts a male Amur Tiger getting a drink of water. My aim was to capture a moment of peace in this powerful feline’s life.  Water, the source of life reflects the image of the tiger with the ripples distorting its reflection. This symbolizes how the future of this species is distorted and uncertain.  The Amur tiger is an endangered species that has every right to live its life.  This piece is meant to capture the essence of that life.  I wanted to capture life itself with all these different sources in nature.  The sun, plants, and water with the reflection are meant to show this.  It measures approximately 15” x 16”.
