Thank you everyone for your support of my dragon series. Well next is the black dragon. I’ve been sketching quite a few concepts. Here is the one I’m leaning towards right now. It isn’t quite complete but I have a bunch of ideas for it 😀

I finished quite a few paintings so starting a bunch of new ones. Look forward to updates on these future pieces.

This newest dragon is the symbol of love and fertility in Asian cultures. The red dragon I feel the more common color that you see on dragons. They are striking and can create a feeling of awe. Honestly this one probably took me the longest out of all the Asian dragon paintings so far. Each rose (especially the large ones) took hours to complete. However, it turned out amazing and captures the beauty of this amazing creature!

With Thanksgiving coming up I’ve been really thinking about what I’m thankful for. Out of everything I think of, the thing that means so much to me is this planet Earth. There are so many things about it, weather, the creatures, just how it works. The Earth is such a beautiful and amazing place. I’m so grateful for it! What are some things you are grateful this season?

This is snapshot of my finished oil painting. You can see a closer photo now in my portfolio. When I was little I often drew dolphins and killer whales. It was one of my dreams to be a dolphin trainer. Well, reality hit that I live a desert of Utah where there is no ocean. Thus I became a horse trainer (my other dream). Interesting how things work out. Still I can paint these amazing creatures whom I love so much. Even if I just see them from a far or at special shows.

I’m curious, which of my two dolphin oil paintings is your favorite?

As I progress in this pastel it has been really fun. There will be a lot of different elements to this one. I can’t wait because I love the composition! It will definitely take its time with the amount of layers required to complete it.

Besides that, I’m getting the stripes in but decided I needed to move on and get the base of the head in. It just looks to funny right now 😀

Happy b-day for me as well as Happy Halloween to everyone else!! So a couple months ago a mother cat and her tiny kittens all showed up on our porch. One of them is this little kitten Moon, she is my new cat 😀 So cute!! Though I must admit my backdrop for this was great! Poor Yoda’s head has been chopped off while Moon looks at me innocently. Haha, she gets into everything 😀

So this last weekend I went to Anime Banzai and had a great time there. This year I decided to cosplay as characters from my two favorite different series. I love the tales of series and Fire Emblem is my ultimate favorite!! So I cosplayed as Rose from Tales of Zestiria and I did Volke from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn again!

I really wanted to make one of my favorite daggers that Volke can use so I made Peshkatz. It was so much fun, even if it was quick. That would be the dagger coming at you in the photo.
