My oil painting of the golden toad is dry and complete. It is nearly ready for varnishing which is exciting! It will soon be listed on my website but here is a preview of the completed piece. Titled “Forever Gone Golden Toad” this painting features the extinct golden toad. The last sighting of the golden toad was in 1989. They were located in Costa Rica’s Monteverde Cloud Forest. It is tragic to see such a beautiful amphibian vanish.
